This beautiful lunch is brought to you by a new discovery. As soon as you get off the Argyle red line stop, make sure you stop by the Vietnamese sandwich shop Ba Le. It offers Banh mi—Vietnamese sandwiches with a little French deli twist! The one you see is their special (Dac Biet) which has a crackly French roll as a bun, filled with various cold cuts and pate. The cilantro on it and jalapenos add a little fresh crispness and kick that really completes the sandwich! Paired with one of their fruit smoothies and juices, a dessert from their French bakery like macrons, and you’ve got yourself a full meal for under $8! If you’re not the crazy eater, this is a great place to try and get yourself acquainted to some unique ingredients that you know for sure will taste great!
