An experience that everyone must go through is the Brazilian Steakhouse Experience. It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind meal that is not only fun, but you leave out of that restaurant stuffed for days. Downtown Chicago hosts 3 different churrascarias and the last one I was lucky enough to go to was Brazzaz. We ended up scoring the dinner menu for the price of one, and boy was it a lot. They had an amazing appetizer and side order buffet—with deviled eggs, veggies, shrimp, and oysters (yes, I had oysters for an appetizer). Then they have a basket of Brazilian cheese bread that I am determined to make myself—they were so soft and warm, it was buttery cheesy heaven. Then they serve the meal with fried plantains and garlic mashed potatoes—a wonderful way to cleanse your palate.
Now here’s what makes their steaks special. The waiters come out, barbecued meat on steel rods, and come up to your table and cut you a slap right on your plate. They cook their meats almost rotisserie-style, and they make sure there is nothing that comes in between you and your meat. Each steakhouse has a specialty, and Brazzaz had their garlic picanha roast and house sirloin that were just perfect. Absolutely perfect.
The next time you want a fun time while you feast, find the nearest churrascaria and enjoy!
